While the UA/SEIU/GTFF contracts and various university, local, state, and federal laws, policies, and customs govern all interactions among people at the University of Oregon as a baseline, we seek to create the best work and study space that we can together by taking our collective and individual needs and goals into consideration. To that end, we are mindful of our workplace interactions in the following ways.

1. Respect one another and expect respect in our various roles in the university.
2. Work towards consensus.
3. Build community
