Dear CAS managers, As we all adapt to working remotely in an uncertain time, we continue to think about ways to function well and to support our colleagues across CAS in their varying roles as staff, managers, faculty, and heads. As a result of a meeting we had with the MAC group, we’re writing to you today to check in and to invite you to informal managers meetings, every other week for a half hour. This half hour will provide a chance for us to hear about this experience from a manager’s perspective, for you to ask questions that haven’t been answered in the avalanche of communications we’re all receiving, let us share how you’re coping and being creative in your jobs, and see familiar faces that you might actually be starting to miss! We certainly miss seeing yours. These meetings will be informal and voluntary; you can come to some and not others, skip them all, or attend them all. We won’t have an agenda, but we’ll be eager to hear what’s on your minds and to help in any ways we can. And we expect that the group will have lots of support and ideas for each other.
