Overview

Tenured faculty continue to be reviewed once every three years for the duration of their employment. These reviews are called the third year post-tenure and sixth year post-tenure reviews. Sometimes these are referred to as minor and major post-tenure reviews, respectively.

The third year post-tenure review is required three years after a major review or after promotion. The sixth year review occurs every three years after a third year review. See the Standard TTF Review Schedule. The content of and procedure for these reviews is described in the United Academics collective bargaining agreement (CBA).

Salary Increases

For full Professors, the sixth year post-tenure review generates a salary increase in accordance with the 2015-18 faculty CBA. See Article 26, Section 5(b) for the increase percentages, which are based on 1. performance category; and 2. whether it is the candidate's first major review.

The Dean's Office will generate the PRFs for these salary increases.
